Warmly welcome to our November Transglobal Music Session in Tāmaki Makaurau!

The Transglobal Music Session is an interactive music workshop where you learn music from around the world, share and collaborate. This is for all musicians - singers and instrumentalists - of all ages and levels with a curiosity to learn music from diverse traditions and cultures and share their own.

We are excited to introduce our two guests for this session; Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist Yaw Asumadu, a master drummer, composer, African flautist, bass guitarist and xylophone player based in Aotearoa since 2018. Yaw is the leader of Ozi Ozaa, an 11 Piece Afrofunk/Highlife Band.
